The CMC-Canada Pro Bono Program has completed a no-charge management consulting engagement for the Senior Pride Network Canada / Réseau de la Fierté des personnes aînées du Canada (SPNC/RFAC) in partnership with the Management Advisory Service (MAS) of Toronto.
The CMC-Canada Pro Bono Program sources management consultants for pro bono help, while MAS is a well-known resource for charities seeking free consulting services. Their collaboration boosts the support available to organizations like SPNC/RFAC.
Ottawa-based Certified Management Consultant Richard Monk volunteered his professional services to assist SPNC/RFAC in improving its governance structure. The project was performed under the CMC® Pro Bono Program which provides free management consulting to registered charities in need.
Mr. Monk guided SPNC’s Board of Directors and representatives from SPNC/RFAC member organizations on improving and enhancing board governance. The project included developing and delivering a webinar for the SPNC/RFAC Board of Directors and members. The virtual workshop focused on strengthening organizational governance practices. This session provided valuable insights and practical tools to empower the board in leading the organization toward a sustainable and impactful future.
